Students may schedule appointments as frequently or as infrequently as they wish. No commitment or minimum is required. If a regular weekly time is reserved, then students are responsible for arriving, without a reminder, for their sessions.
All appointments scheduled are for the exact times scheduled. Students who are late for a lesson will not necessarily be able to make up the missed time by staying longer since the tutor will have planned to finish the session at the scheduled time. If a tutor is running late, then kindly understand that your tutor has probably tried his/her best to accommodate earlier students and we appreciate your patience. In this situation, you will receive the full length of time scheduled for your appointment.
Payment Policy:
As all lessons are on an appointment basis, payment is “pay-as-you-go” unless you make other arrangements with Mostly Math. No commitment or minimum number of sessions are required. Before your first tutoring session, you will be given an hourly tutoring rate. This is payable in cash or cheque (payable to Mostly Math) or email transfer at your first appointment. Please note that the NSF cheque fee is $10.You may continue to send payment with your child for each individual lesson, or you may wish to pay for a certain number of hours in advance. In this case, we will count down the hours used and inform you when another payment is required. Please note that tutoring services are not subject to GST/HST.
Cancellation Policy:
All appointments must be cancelled by or before 7:00 p.m. the day before your appointment is scheduled to occur or else full lesson fees will apply. We ask that you let us know about a cancellation as soon as possible, so we can rearrange times for our tutors, to avoid gaps in their schedule and/or to offer the time slot to another student. To cancel your appointment, please call 416-502-1717 and if no one is available to take your call, please do leave a voicemail message. Messages time-stamped before 7:00 p.m. the day before the scheduled appointment will be cancelled without financial penalty.
“No shows” with no cancellation notice are subject to the full lesson fee. If a cancelled lesson is rescheduled, please note that any cancellation fees still apply for the originally scheduled lesson.
